My Story
I’m the face behind UNORTHODOX — a female designer based in the UK, just out here trying to turn pain into power.
Living with chronic illness and battling mental health struggles isn’t easy. Some days are heavy. Some days feel impossible. But through it all, creating has been my way to breathe, to scream, to exist loudly when the world tries to quiet me down.
Designing started as a release — a way to escape my own mind and channel what I was feeling into something tangible.
Something that could speak for me when I couldn’t find the words.
Over time, it became more than just therapy. It became a vision.
UNORTHODOX is my rebellion — against limitation, expectation, and staying small.
It’s my love letter to the weird, the loud, the messy, the misunderstood.
Every piece I create is a reflection of that energy — honest, raw, a little chaotic, and completely real.
I wouldn’t be here without the people around me. My friends and family believed in this before I did. They reminded me that my story, my designs, and my voice matter. That even in the darkest moments, there's power in expressing yourself — unapologetically.
UNORTHODOX isn’t just a brand. It’s my truth stitched into fabric. It’s proof that even when life tries to knock you down, you can still rise — creatively, fiercely, and on your own terms.
